Guests were invited to share their experiences using Honeywell products and solutions and offer feedback to inspire the next generation of ideas.
Numerous speakers from the likes of Evolution Mining and BP entertained and educated a packed-out ballroom, sharing their industry knowledge and predictions for the future of the resource industries.
AMP senior economist Bob Cuneen spoke of the changing global economies and how Australian resource companies had to adapt in order to maintain a strong foothold in the world markets.
"Never expect an economist to come up here and be a motivational speaker," he said.
“The economy and optimism just don't go together."
Guests were able to get up close and personal with the latest Honeywell technologies in the purpose-built Knowledge Centre where they could see the latest optimisation, cyber security and safety enhancing technologies.
“These user groups are the best way for us to connect to our customers and get a feel for what is working well and also what we need to work on to make things better," Honeywell Pacific director Neil Wold said.
"Your insight and ideas are at the forefront of our drive for innovation."
Guests have been encouraged to network and share stories of past failures and successes in order to provide food for thought for the next generation of products and solutions.
"If you leave here with just one good idea and you go home and implement that, you've just covered the cost of your ticket," Honeywell event MC Greg Bell said.
