His past professional endeavors include Phelps Dodge, Kerr-McGee (including management positions at Jacobs Ranch, Galatia and Kerr-McGee Coal), Shell Coal and Anglo Coal Australia.
Maryland-based Foundation, who was named “Coal Company of the Year” at the seventh annual Platts Global Energy Awards earlier this month, also recently reported a strong third quarter with a net income of $US21.6 million over a loss of $US5.9 million a year ago.
The company produces coal from 13 coal mines and related facilities in various US states including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Illinois and Wyoming.
