2021 has started off strong for Webdrill, with Jared and the team going from strength to strength. Webdrill's long term contracts with aligned clients are secure and prosperous and the fleet is rapidly expanding with the roll out of four new MCR Smart Rigs, one being a Diamec Smart 6M Rig already this year.
Webdrill have extended across a range of sites throughout Western Australia supporting 'local' and providing their drilling services in various formations and ground conditions. From BIF to ultramafic, dewatering, gas, nickel shear drilling, high pressure water, service holes, exploration and grade control programs and of course directional drilling.
With their success in scaling and an active social media presence not only have they attracted more long-term work but have also gained new talent aligned to the strong Webdrill values.
Combining Drilling Expertise with a Passion For Positivity
"We are proud to say that we don't have manning challenges here at Webdrill, we can confidently declare we very rarely have dropped shifts" states Jared Webb, CEO of Webdrill.
One might question what does that come down to?
Something that is apparent is the real positive culture, leadership and genuine care that comes from the 'Webdrill Family' as they like to call themselves.
Michael Farr, General Manager said - "The support they have for each other and passion for what they do shines. The Operations team across all locations, including Nickel and Gold sites, have recently accomplished a 47-metre monthly average which is an incredible result.
"Our teams operating in the Nickel space have continued to achieve great results through some of the most challenging drilling conditions in the industry. All holes achieving hole completion targets, successfully executing, and advancing through more than 1 8 sectional grouts in a single program to achieve the hole completion targets for our respective clients. This coupled with the outstanding performance from the crews across the gold operations have made it a great year for Webdrill and all involved.
It has been an exceptional year of growth for Webdrill across the board. It's important to work with a like-minded and passionate team that are united and dedicated to achieving our mission. It is this passion and commitment from the team that is allowing the culture that is Webdrill to strive and continue to grow in a challenging market and to do so with exceptional talent is an excellent achievement.'
Lyndon Berry, the Support Services Manager added "Authentic care/support and recognition has attracted some of the ndustries top talent and the results speak for themselves. Cultural safety and productivity is unrivalled."
If you're working for Webdrill, you are considered part of the family - whether clients, partners, suppliers, talent - all working together to achieve great things and make a pos'tive difference n the industry.
Sheree Webb the Brand & Culture Executive is inundated with content from the site teams when they have a great shift. "The guys are proud of themselves, and their efforts and I love sharing their photos on our social platforms. The comaraderie s positive and strong."
State-of-The-Art Drill RIGS That Drive Superior Project Performance
One thing is clear. The team at Webdrill are not afraid of change and - asJared Webb commented - "they like to think and act as if the box does not exist!"
Their partnership with Epiroc has been longstanding and the Webdrill team love utilizing technology and innovation in the drilling space. Webdrill's latest investment to their developing fleet is a Diamec Smart 6M Rig, with 130kw of power! It is also equipped with the best rod handler on the market and fully automated with an advanced rig control system.
The Power of Social Presence
it is fair to say that most people have heard of Webdrill across the various social platforms. Sheree Webb and her media team are responsible for this leading-edge presence and are passionate about the connection and message they create and share. Preparations are currently underway to transform their Landsdale media room into a multipurpose podcasting studio.
Sheree expressed, "We want to continue to inspire and shift the drilling industry and its people in a positive way, by sharing our stories and collaborating with like-minded partners and lived experience connections to help individuals be the best version of themselves. We continue to spread awareness and take action around the real FIFO challenges our industry face, mental health, relationship support and other topics important to us and our industry as a collective. This is the only way we are going to create change.'
