Transform your wheel loader into a ROM clearing workhorse

With the Wearpact lip system, expect clean cuts and reduced maintenance requirements.

Transform your wheel loader into a ROM clearing workhorse

On mine sites, cleanliness is next to godliness. Rogue stones can wreak havoc on truck and loader tyres, leading to costly additional maintenance and production delays.

The right lip on your wheel loader can ensure that the ROM pad is kept clean and operations continue as usual. CR Mining's Wearpact GET lip system is the perfect workhorse for the job.

Meet Wearpact

Wearpact is a lip system engineered to drive maximum performance and wear life. The shroud is self-sharpening, continuing to cut clean throughout its lifespan.

It's designed for both underground mining and surface material handling, suitable for any material type, and performs under all loading conditions.

Taking Wearpact Up to the Surface

"Our customers have historically used Wearpact lips in underground LHD applications," said Product Manager Glenn Toner. "But the shrouds are ideal for clearing ROM on the surface as well."

With its unique design, Wearpact can fit most medium-sized wheel loaders in mining and quarry applications. The optimised geometry of the continuous edge and low profile design produces a clean cut, moving dirt effectively and efficiently. Greater penetration decreases stress on the machine, reducing spillage and increasing productivity.

Safety is Our Priority

"At CR Mining, one of our core values is Zero Harm, so introducing products that are as safe as possible is a high priority," said Toner. "We're proud to say that Wearpact is safer than conventional continuous edge solutions."

All retainers are secured in the shroud and fastened from the top of the lip, so operators aren't at risk of injury when replacing the shrouds, as there's no need to work underneath the bucket.

Wearpact shrouds are installed mechanically, with no welding required, avoiding the additional risk of injury caused by hot work.

Built Tough to Reduce Maintenance

Wearpact is designed to minimise maintenance requirements, even in the toughest conditions.

The Wearpact shroud design ensures wear material is exactly where it's needed, ensuring throw away material is minimal. In fact, the edges are self-sharpening, so clean up stays precise all the way to end of life.

Wear indicators located in the shroud make it easy to see when they need to be replaced, taking the guesswork out of maintenance monitoring.

"We've seen fantastic results from our underground and existing surface customers who have already begun the journey with us, so we're excited to expand Wearpact to the greater market in the surface sector. Initial results are exciting, we've received feedback that our lips are making a real impact for customers" said Toner. "Wearpact for surface applications is available worldwide and we're able to work with customers to create a lip design for their needs."
