CS Energy cops fine for operating Callide unregistered

THE Australian Energy Regulator has fined CS Energy $67,800 for breaching the National Electricity Law by not being a registered participant with the Australian Energy Market Operator or holding a valid exemption during an explosion at Callide C power station in Queensland.

CS Energy was fined because it did not hold the required exemption from registration as the operator of Callide C.
