Ora Banda is currently working the Davyhurst project in Western Australia's Goldfields.

Davyhurst has pre-existing infrastructure in place including a 1.2 million tonnes per annum conventional carbon-in-pulp processing facility.

The miner is targeting resource development activities at five advanced project areas including Riverina, Waihi, Siberia (Sand King and Missouri), Callion and Golden Eagle.

With the crusher circuit now down for repairs and maintenance, Ora Banda's previously stated guidance of 14,000oz has been revised to 12,000oz.

Total ounces produced in financial year 2023 is expected to be about 48,000oz.

The crushing circuit is expected to be fully operational by July.

Ora Banda managing director Luke Creagh said while the crushing circuit downtime was disappointing, it was a short-term impact that was not expected to have any long-term implications to the business.

"We expect the current circuit to be fully operational by July 1 2023, and the previously announced crusher upgrades in financial year 2024 will ensure the crushing circuit is no longer a bottleneck to performance," he said.

Open pit mining has been performing well at Missouri with June quarterly production expected to top 15,000oz, an increase of 40% compared to the previous quarter.

Creagh said development was also going well at Riverina Underground with mining contractor Byrnecut arriving on site in May.

An underground portal has been established, with total decline advancement of 225.7m completed including 194.3m in the main decline and a further 31.4m in other development.
