For Lycopodium managing director Peter De Leo it was a 2004 mining project in a new gold belt in Ghana that was the point when he felt the firm hit the big time.
The firm secured the engineering, procurement and construction management contract for the 7.5 million tonne per annum gold processing plant at Newmont Mining's Ahafo gold project in Africa in 2003, started construction in 2004. First gold was delivered in 2006.
To commemorate the occasion Australia's Mining Monthly has published a supplement looking at the 25 years of Lycopodium.
The supplement can be found here.
