Thunderbird starts paying its way

KIMBERLEY Mineral Sands has brought in the first revenue from its operational Thunderbird mineral sands mine in Western Australia’s Kimberley region, with a maiden 300 metric tonne cargo of non-magnetic zircon sailing from Port Hedland to three offtake customers in China.
