The electronic microprocessor based relay is housed in a stainless steel enclosure and is suitable for either DIN rail or panel mounting.
An internal switch mode power supply allows the ELD relay to operate with a supply voltage 24-132VAC or 20-180VDC. Definite time operating characteristics are provided with trip sensitivity levels adjustable from 100mA to 2500mA and time delays settings from 50mS to 3000mS.
A ten segment LED bar graph shows the level of leakage current being detected and provides pre trip early warning. This reading can also be remotely monitored via the 4-20mA output, and an external remote reset is also a standard function.
Indication is also provided when the relay measures currents with frequencies greater than 50Hz, should the high frequency current persist beyond the set time delay the relay will trip and separate indication is shown.
“The first order for thirty units is currently being manufactured for delivery in early December,” Ampcontrol said in a statement.
“The ELD relay has evolved from an Australian manufacturer listening to its customer’s needs and is backed by Ampcontrol’s ongoing commitment to technical support.”
