DRAEGER Safety has introduced a new lightweight, ergonomic self-contained self-rescuer that offers the lowest breathing resistance of any SCSR on the market, according to the company.
The Oxy K plus S series has a quick-flip stainless steel easy opener allowing for faster and easier donning during emergency situations in mines.
“Unlike other SCSRs, the Oxy K Plus has the starter oxygen automatically activate as soon as the user takes the breathing hose from the apparatus,” the company said.
The units are currently in stock and are available for order.
