The due diligence process has been completed, and a sales agreement contract finalized with Marmon but the acquisition could not be confirmed complete. A final handover date was not known but subject to all approvals being given, handover to DBT is expected during July 2001. A five month transition period is envisaged to fully integrate the two companies.

The purchase of Long Airdox provides DBT with a long sought opportunity to add a shearer to its range of products and expand Long-Airdox's market share of bord and pillar products.
