Cove Engineering will be showcasing its Smart Frame conveyor idler changing system which allows individual conveyor idlers to be safely manipulated and removed from a designated walkway, without the need to enter the active conveyor zone.
In a similar vein, Tamec Services will highlight its conveyor idler roll assembly which allows rolls to simultaneously move away from the conveyor belt without the need for lifting equipment. There is no need to enter the hazardous area of the conveyor frame structure.
Cobra South Pacific will showcase a wide range of Depreux solid woven conveyor belting and Goro belt fasteners. Of particular interest is the GoroX3 solid strip fastener which was built for underground use with excellent holding and wear resistance properties.
It suits belt tensile strengths up to 2500kN/m, widths up to 1800mm and thicknesses of 10–18mm.
FMC Technologies will also unveil the FMC 2000 Series conveyor idler rolls, which exceed CEMA load ratings.
The new rolls feature pressed heads, eliminating distortion, machined bearing seats, and the placement of the bearing close to the shaft supports, providing very low bearing misalignment.
