The joint venture follows the successful start of activities in May 2005 through a sales office importing resin capsules from Minova in Russia.
The new company is located in Karaganda, the centre of the Kazakh coal mining area.
The plant will manufacture Lokset SiS and PUR capsules and will bring the
full Minova product range of steel bolts, powder products, drilling equipment and PU resin systems to market.
“The opening of a new Minova company in Kazakhstan will strengthen the position of the Minova Group in the region. The new company is well positioned in a fast growing market and will contribute to the further expansion of the business activities,” Minova CarboTech CEO Michael Reich said.
