New works for Monadelphous

In the Pilbara, Monadelphous was awarded contracts with iron ore miners Fortescue Metals Group, Rio Tinto and Roy Hill.

FMG issued a five-year contract to provide maintenance, repairs, general shutdown services and minor projects across its Pilbara operations.

Rio Tinto awarded a multi-disciplinary contract to Monadelphous for construction of a conveyor at its Tom Price iron ore mine, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2023.

Monadelphous also secured a contract with the Gina Rinehart-owned Roy Hill for construction of a pipeline and access road at the Roy Hill mine site, with that work expected to be done by the end of the year.

The engineer has also been appointed to a panel in WA to provide coating and concrete repair services for the Water Corporation for a term of five years.

In Queensland Monadelphous is to provide dragline shutdown and maintenance services for BHP Mitsubishi Alliance in the Bowen Basin for a further 12 months, as part of a contract extension.
