Designed with a cast alloy housing and a chemical resistant Xylex lens for greater mechanical strength and vibration resistance, the DuraRay3 can survive larger crush or impact loads than conventional optical beacons.
The release is available in amber and red variants, both with high output LEDs paired with an intelligent electronic control system to provide beam control, effective penetration of light through fog and dust and high observability from a distance with minimal close-up glare.
DuraRay can be installed on machines and equipment with varying voltage outputs because of its Multivolt 9-33V DC system, without impact to the light output of the unit.
The beacon also has a low EMC signature and boasts higher EMC standard CISPR25 Class 3 certification.
Its non-stick surface coating is self-cleaning. It prevents dirt build-up and resists salts and acidic materials. The coating, which is bonded to the unit’s housing, was developed specifically for Hella Mining products to optimize corrosion and UV protection and will not peel or flake.
The pre-wired beacon is a fully sealed ‘Fit and Forget” product that can be submerged and high-pressure washed from any direction.
