Billabong Gold fined over hydraulic ram ejection injuries

PLUTONIC gold mine owner Billabong Gold was fined $550,000 plus costs of $4670 in the Carnarvon Magistrates Court on December 22 over an incident in 2020 in which two workers were struck by tooling ejected under pressure from a hydraulic ram.
