The gatherings, on September 27-28 at the Red Lion Resort and Casino in Elko, Nevada, will focus on underground and surface miners’ exposure to diesel particulate matter and gases as well as silica dust.
Designed for mine safety and health professionals, the diesel workshop will examine aerosols and gases in underground mines, and the dust workshop will spotlight silica dust control. Both sessions will have a special focus on metal/nonmetal operations.
Suppliers and manufacturers will also be on hand in a designated display booth area, displaying diesel vehicles and engines, emission control technologies and duct control technologies.
Pre-registration for the event is required by September 15.
