The 2009 SME Annual Meeting and Exhibit and CMA 111th National Western Mining Conference will return to Denver, Colorado between February 22 and 25 under the theme "Stewardship and Sustainability: Getting it done in the 21st Century".
In preparation for the gathering, the society has issued a call for papers. The first step of the process is the submission of abstracts, which are due May 15.
Those papers selected for presentation will be notified electronically and authors will have until August 1 to submit final abstracts. Pre-print manuscripts of the papers are to be turned in to the group no later than November 1.
