Tiaro moves closer to JORC resource

Tiaro, which holds a number of coal tenements within the Mesozoic Maryborough Basin located between Gympie and Maryborough, has determined some indicative coal qualities on two of its properties.

EPC956 & 957, owned in conjunction with Core Coal, Jandale and Dynasty Metals Australia, have shows several seams indicative of hard coking coal and pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal.

Testing showed the washed production with about 10% ash at about 40% yield.

Tiaro is now moving ahead with a resource-definition program to bring the resource up to JORC compliance.

Tiaro was trading unchanged at 21 cents on Monday.
